Greasy Chicken is the cool and hep guitar player of the Chicken Heads.
He originally got into the subculture after moving into Los Angeles.
He started a band with other greasers called "The Oils" credited with fore-
shadowing the punk movement. Their oddball song "Glazed and Dazed" especially
showed punk elements such as beefy guitar tones and simple chord structure.
Trivia:
The Oils only had 1 EP released, called "Petrol" containing songs like "Glazed and Dazed" "Shoe Pennies" and "Crude Oil."
The Oils broke up after the Los Angeles Hardcore scene totally took their wave!
Greasy Chicken tried to form another band in 1982 called "The Clique" but were booed off the stage during their first show
and Greasy was later tackled by Henry Rollins for sucking so much.
He later moved to Seattle for a short time and started the band "Green River" under the name Bruce Fairweather.
